As the Tsunami Volunteer Centre closes, we salute the 6,000 volunteers who supported the recovery work.

Its not all finished though, Volunteer Teacher in Thailand is carrying on the teaching of English in schools and communities on the Andaman Coast. We charge 3,000 Thai Baht for you to register, and we will assist you in finding accommodation to suit your budget. We are pledged to assist any volunteer who is having difficulties, from lost passport to a hospital run.

The Tsunami Volunteer Project donated  their office equipment and funds for us to carry on the Education Project.

You can follow the history by looking at www.tsunamivolunteer.net and follow the links to Volunteer Teacher, and to our partners, fun4kids who are building playground equipment for underprivileged children.

The project is run by teachers. Our mission is to deliver quality learning experiences to the students and the people in the communities who request our input. We follow the government curriculum but use student centred learning activities to deliver the lessons.

Our mission is to work for the day we are not needed anymore.
