You can still sign up to volunteer, then visit Disney for free this year. You and up to eight members of your family can trade a day of volunteer work for free one-day passes to Disneyland or Walt Disney World through a program launched earlier this year by Disney.
Here’s how it works: sign up online through Disney to volunteer, choose a volunteer opportunity from the list of those available in your area, go on the appointed day and complete your service. The organization you volunteer with will notify Disney that you’ve put in your time. You’ll receive your one-day voucher via email soon after.
The only catches: children must be six or older to participate, and you’ve got to use your free passes before Dec. 15, 2010.
The offer runs until Disney’s given out 1 million free passes. We hear they’re up to about 600,000 right now.
