The Katelios Group is a small organisation working to protect the natural environment of Kefalonia. We focus on the conservation of the endangered Loggerhead sea turtle Caretta caretta.

Conservation and education

We hope to stop the decline of the population and help the conservation of the Loggerhead sea turtle in Kefalonia with our Turtle project. We also have an education programme to inform the maximum number of people about turtles and our work.

To assist in all the aspects of our work, at the Katelios Group we take a great number of volunteers every summer. Volunteers take part in all the activities and have an unforgettable experience.
