Proyecto Peru is a Spanish language school and volunteer organization. We specialize in teaching Spanish to native speakers and in organizing volunteer projects and internships. We are based in Peru in the historic city of Cusco, the capital of the ancient Inca empire. Peru, and Cusco in particular, is a privileged place because of its impressive history, culture and nature. Unfortunately it is also a region where many people live in poverty and do not have the resources to give their children a good meal or education.

With Proyecto Peru we organize our own projects and intermediate in various social projects in and around Cusco.

All the projects we work with are not for profit or public (like schools). We have projects available in the area of child care, orphanages, day care, sports and English education in primary and secondary schools, medical clinics, work in a home for elderly and do community work. Depending on the project, you can for example teach, take care of children, organize activities or help social projects with their organization or their marketing. The minimum period for volunteering is always 4 weeks. Proyecto Peru provides a good coordination and arranges your accommodation (host family or apartement) and your Spanish lessons.
