Fox Language Academy is a non-profitable organization that provides classes in Quechua, Spanish & English to the locals. And spanish classes to tourists of course. You can volunteer there as an English-teacher, either to teach classes of your own or as a teacher assistant. If you feel the desire to volunteer at orphanages, Fox will gladly put you in contact with one or several of the orphanages spread around Sucre. There is no fees involved whatsoever, just your own living expenses.
They will also help you arrange homestays with Bolivian families if desired. Sucre is a very nice plays to be, a good atmosphere and really friendly people. I ended up spending three months there and I will return there as soon as I can. Highly recommended!
